Vojta Therapy
I offer diagnosis and treatment using the German Voita method for the evaluation and treatment of early neurodevelopmental and motor disorders such as cerebral palsy, congenital hip dislocation, and brachial plexus injury in premature and newborn infants, as well as post-stroke and stroke in adults.
During the consultation, I perform a detailed evaluation of the child’s reflexes and neuro-motor development, identifying any delay if present, and I explain the treatment plan and both short- and long-term goals to the parents.
Therapy is applied by placing the child in specific positions and applying gentle pressure to certain points on the body to stimulate reflexes that help improve motor skills such as rolling, sitting, crawling, and standing.
Parents are also guided on how to continue the exercises at home to support the child’s ongoing development.
